LI: To correctly structure and write a Haiku poem
The above DLO showcases my Haiku Poem. Haiku poem is a short Japanese poems with a fixed pattern of three lines and seventeen syllables. The first and last line has 5 syllables whereas the second line has 7 syllables. Using this information I chose the topic sun and wrote the above Haiku Poem. I enjoyed writing this poem and gained a lot of information on Haiku poetry after completing this DLO.
Haiku is a short form of Japanese poetry in three phrases, typically characterized by three qualities: The essence of haiku is "cutting". The lines of such poems rarely rhyme with each other. Haiku became popular as tanka poems in Japan during the 9th and 12th centuries.
