Cybersmart: Using Images

LI: To understand that images should match to the information in text by allowing the reader to make a visual connection.

The above google slide is a collaborative work of Chris and me under the topic of Cybersmart. The reason for creating this google slide is to tell the importance of matching the image to the information. To make the topic clear we added two examples with the same text. The difference was that one is correct and one is incorrect. The main purpose was that the image has a main role when you are telling about a certain topic thus the image and the statistics must match. This task gave a very useful lesson and I also enjoyed to work as a team.

  1. Hi Sakshi, you and Chris have done a really great job at making sure the image matches the information. Sometimes when I watch the news I don't always think the images were the best match for the story. Do you? Keep up the great distance learning.

    1. Kia ora Miss Morris,
Thank you for the feedback and the commenting on my blog. I am glad you liked it. I agree, sometimes the news doesn't really put images related to the content which is inappropriate. Hope you like my other blogs too!

  2. Hi Sakshi, I really enjoyed the slideshow you and Chris have done. After reading your blog I will be more aware of how images are paired with the subject in the media and in my own work.
