Home Learning: Milford Sounds

LI: To know about Milford Sounds

The above DLO showcases my presentation of my research on Milford Sounds. The best task was the second one in which I made my reference on the cruises and tours. I remembered all the magical memories of me in cruise when I was in Dubai. We had clicked pictures, had dinner and drew sketches which was very fascinating. I also came to know a lot about the cost and purchases of the tickets in Milford Sounds. I loved to complete this Home Learning Task.

  1. Milford Sound is a fiord in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for towering Mitre Peak, plus rainforests and waterfalls like Stirling and Bowen falls, which plummet down its sheer sides. The fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins and dolphins. Milford Discovery Centre and Underwater Observatory offers views of rare black coral and other marine life. Boat tours are a popular way to explore and I did so back in 1996 - it is a place of awe and wonder and I hope to return one day.
