Respect CARE Award : Mahatma Gandhi

LI: To write a presentation on a respected leader

This DLO showcases about the struggle Mahatma Gandhi made for the independence of India. I found interesting that he had made a movement named the salt movement. He had walked to the shore on foot through a long journey with a huge group of people and broke the salt law made by the British to show that this ocean is ours and we have the right to take salt.

  1. Hi Sakshi

This is a fabulous tribute of respect to a great man. I found it so interesting to learn about the Salt movement as I had not heard of this before. His actions give us great examples of how to achieve something in a peaceful way. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of Bapu with us.

  3. Hi Sakshi...

I really like this quote by Mahatma Gandhi

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.

    Have a great day!

  5. This is a very comprehensive presentation. Your focus on the salt laws is very interesting. Most students when they complete a project do not cover that aspect, yet it is a major part of his reforms. I really like the way the presentation rotates between slides. It makes for a good viewer experience and a change from a flip.

    Well done.
