Maori: English Names

 LI: To complete the table and learn the Maori transition of English names.

The above google document showcases my learning on the maori transition of english names. Today in our Maori lesson we were learning about this topic and also learned some tips. We first started by writing the date, weather and the feeling. Some words that were new to me were Whiringa as it means November and Kapua as it means cloudy. The tips were the changing of words from maori to english which helped us to complete the table. If we still couldn't understand it we could use the maori dictionary. After completing this class I came to know many new words and also learnt about transition of english names.
