Provocation: Should masks be compulsary on NZ public transport?

LI: To identify and consider the two perspectives of this provocation to help me form an opinion.

The above presentation is a collaborative work of Fau, Juel, Afatia and me which showcases provocation. A provocation is an action or speech that triggers strong feelings about the topic. Today we considered both sides of the provocation, "Should masks be compulsary on NZ public transport?". We then used that information to create an opinion that we could justify through evidence. As there were four people who worked together we had four opinions and agreed to the question. I think that masks must be compulsary because we protect ourselves as well as the people around us. I really liked working and learning new things with my group.

  1. Hi Sakshi!
I really enjoyed reading your blogpost. I really like that you all had a think about your statements and agreed on 1 opinion to use. For my group we were undecided as we all had different opinions. I agree with you because masks are not just protecting you, but the ones around you. Did you and your group have interactive conversations about your opinions?
    Keep up the great work!

    1. Hi Florence,
I am glad that you liked reading my blog post and thank you for the feedback. I agree, when you work in a group every person has a different opinion which adds more points. We used interactive conversations before creating the presentation and told each of our points. We all agreed that masks should be compulsory and then told the reason why, which is on the last slide. Thank you for commenting on my blog and I hope you like my other blogs as well!
