Tech Reflection 2020

LI: To create a photo montage showcasing our journey of Tech this year.

The above google draw showcases a photo montage of this year's tech journey. This year at tech I attended three different rotations which were Pewter casting, Robotics and Food Technology in which I worked with Mr. Grundy, My Ferguson and Ms. Heka respectively. This year due to the pandemic we did half of our tech classes online but were able to complete our syllabus. Each rotation was special as I could improve in different fields. In Pewter Casting I we showed our creativity and created new things, in Robotics we learned about codes and m Bot robots and in cooking we learnt more about our culinary skills and cooked delicious food. This was my first year at tech and was very useful and I really enjoyed to learn different subjects from different teacher by going in a different place.

  1. Hi Sakshi,
I really enjoyed reading your blurb about how you enjoyed learning different skills in a new area with different teachers. I was also apart of tech and we also had online classes for just one of our rotations witch was with Ms Ferguson. I think that maybe next time you can add a little bit more detail into our experience with tech. If you were choose one of the three rotations as your Favorite what would it be?

    1. Hi Juel,
Thank you for commenting on my blog and for the positive feedback. Thank you for the advise as well, I will make sure that I explain my topic in more detail next time. I liked attending all the three rotation but I liked doing food tech the most because we could learn how to cook and could also follow those recipes at home. The best part was that we could actually eat the delicious dishes we created. Which rotation was your favorite and why?

    2. Hello Sakshi,

Thank you for replying to my comment, My favorite rotation was science with Mrs Sharma becuase we explored the four areas of science is more detail, which are Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and Astronomy and Geology. When you were at food tech what was your favorite recipe and why?

    3. Hi Juel,
I agree, I also wanted to be a part of the science class and learn new things with Mrs. Sharma. I think my favorite recipe in food tech was sushi for many reasons. First, it was my first time tasting and making sushi so I was very excited from the start. I also found rolling the ingredients in the seaweed quite tricky Did you attend food tech? If yes, which recipe did you find the hardest or trickiest and why?
