Tech Reflection: Avocado Sushi

 LI: To follow the instructions and make Avocado Sushi. 

This week for our year 8 technology session we went to Tamaki College with Ms. Heka. The above picture showcases the dish we created. First we listened the instructions that Ms. Heka told us about the proportion of ingredients and cleaning the area where we worked. Our ingredients were Seaweed paper, boiled rice, avocado, and soya sauce. We first carefully added a thick layer of rice on the seaweed which was over the bamboo roll. Then we added small slices of avocado in the centre and started to roll it gently. We then cut it into small pieces and eat it with soya sauce. It tasted so delicious and we were very happy that our hard work had a good result. I liked working with Ms. Heka and I will miss her a lot because this was our last tech class.
