LI: To write a summary of the story behind the Gunpowder Plot in your own words.
The above google draw showcases the collaborative work of Diana, Mercy and me under the topic of Reading. Today, Diana and I worked with Mercy who is a student in Room 5 and we helped her learn how to summarize a text. We created this google draw to understand why we celebrate Guy Fawkes each year as well as help the students of Room 5. We started by recording all the words in the story on a piece of paper and then followed the summarizing format. I really liked teaching Mercy and talking to her and would love to work with her again.
